Father Daughter

Dedicated to my father.

When I was in grade school, my dad went out one day and bought himself the cheapest guitar he could find. He sat down and through trial and error (and with a little help from my mother) he taught himself how to play it. He's been writing hymns ever since. Sometimes, if it was a nice day out, he'd be sitting out on the porch with his guitar when I came home from school. We'd sit together and sing the songs he'd written, and perhaps write some more.

When I was very little, too young to talk or walk, he would sit with me at the piano and write songs just for me. Somewhere in this piece is a little tune that belongs to my special song.



Father Daugther is an original piece and belongs to me, so please don't steal or "borrow" it without giving me credit as the composer and without first asking my permission. Thanks.
