The Coming Storm

My own personal arrangement of the Song of Storms from the Legend of Zelda. Made with Printmusic.

Well, this is an interesting one. I tried something new this time around. Instead of focusing on the melody in the Song of Storms, I concentrated primarily on letting the music feel like a building storm. It starts quietly, grows in intensity, becomes raging and wild, and then slowly dies out and fades away to silence.

As some of the musically inclined listeners may have noticed, the Song of Storms is normally in 3/4 time, but here I changed it to 4/4 time. This wasn't for any particular reason; I just wanted to see if I could.

Also something new: I used ocean waves as a percussion instrument. While you listen, try to imagine that you're standing on a deserted beach somewhere while you watch the storm roll in from far out on the water.

You all know the drill. I don't own the Legend of Zelda, I don't own the Song of Storms. All I own is this arrangement. Please don't use it without my permission.
